So glad

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  This week we have a fun Tic Tac Toe board for you:

  

Here is what I created for your inspiration:

I used the top row: patterned paper, butterflies, sequins.  I also used citrus (colors--lemon yellow, grapefruit pink), piercing (around my main panel) and texture (with the sequins, dry embossed sentiment banner, organza ribbon).   I used the "out of the box" cutting technique to die cut the white panel and allow the tips of the wings to be outside the panel.  While the panel was still in the die, I used my piercing tool to pierce a border.  I colored the butterfly with yellow markers and added gold nuvo shimmer pen to the colored portions.  You can see the glitter better in the photo below:

I stamped and die cut my sentiment and added a little shading to the banner with a pale gray marker.  I added the ribbon/bow and sequins to finish everything off.
