Praying for you

To create a soft look on this sympathy card, I use some Mulberry paper that I've had in my stash forever!  See my post, here, for the info on this beautiful technique.  It's a little hard to see in the photo, but the yellow panel was stamped with a background image in the same color ink and the edges were inked with the same color.  In real life, it's a very subtle, pretty look.

Challenges:
One Stitch At A Time #249--the dead/remembrance day
Sweet Stampin--dies and/or punches
Sketch Saturday #385--choose any sketch (I chose #268)

Fussy & Fancy #141--flowers
Brown Sugar Challenge #170--flowers
Simon Says Stamps Wednesday--anything goes
Penny's Paper Challenge #251--anything goes
Crafty Creations #301--colorful
Word Art Wednesday #207--anything goes with uplifting sentiment
Simon Says Stamp Monday--throwback: no ordinary paper (July 27th challenge)

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI "Mum's The Word" and "Boutique Borders: Sympathy"; JustRite Stampers background stamp
Dies: Spellbinders "A2 Matting Basics A" rectangle; MFT "Blueprints #13"
Punches: Martha Stewart butterfly punch

I think your prettily stamped flower panel is perfect for your sympathy card. I like your soft mounting too. I haven’t been able to play along with our sketches for a few weeks now but I’m delighted you joined in with my teamies at Sketch Saturday this week with this lovely card. Hugs, Lesley

So very pretty and elegant. I have a ton of Mulberry paper that I haven't looked at in years. Guess I should revisit that. Thanks for joining us at One Stitch at a Time this fortnight. Good luck. Hugs, Maggie.
