Happy Friday!!! It's time for a new challenge from the Cut It Up Challenge Blog. But before I get to that, I have an announcement to make:
Cut It Up Challenge is trying to get to 1000 followers!! Right now we are at 990. When we get to 1000, there will be a random drawing for a box of crafty goodies!! All you have to do is head over to the blog and follow us.
This week, the challenge is: Friendship
Here is my card for your inspiration:
This card is made from a lot of bits and pieces that were left over on my desk from other projects. The black die cut was a mistake from a previous card, but it was perfect for this heat embossed sentiment! One layer of the roses was already stamped, so I added the first and third layers and die cut them out (after misstamping the same image on the other side of the cardstock!). The ribbon isn't a scrap, but the roll of it has been sitting on my desk for a while. The patterned paper was a scrap that I trimmed down to size and the leaves were die cut from scraps before stamping them. I finished everything off with some pale pink pearls. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will hop over to the Cut It Up blog for the full details of the challenge and to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.

What a beautiful card! I would never have guessed so many of the elements started as scraps or leftovers. The patterned paper, roses, ribbon, and pearls all come together perfectly. I always love seeing creative ways to use pieces that are already on our desks!
So pretty - that's such a beautiful saying and the black frame offsets it perfectly against the busy background and the flowers in the corner :)
A very striking and very pretty card.
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you in the treehouse later. xxx
This is a truly beautiful card and saying. Thanks so much for sharing with us at the Creative Fingers Challenge
You have created a very beautiful card from your 'bits and pieces' Helen, the elements all combine so perfectly together. Thank you for joining in at Sweet Stamping.

Love your card especially the sentiment and the background with the ribbon bow!
Such a creative card made using leftover pieces! Nice. Thank you for joining us over @ Make My Monday.
Heather, first of all, I wanted to let you know that I am already following the Cut It Up Challenge Blog. I know that you will reach your 1000 followers very soon! Your card is lovely, but what I love most about it is how it’s made up of little scraps and mistakes. That’s one thing I love so much about card making is being able to take those little things and make something as beautiful as this. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate your participation!
Very pretty card. Thanks for sharing it with us at the Crafty Catz Challenge Janet DT
