Hello, everyone! It's time for a new challenge from the Creative Moments Challenge blog. The theme is: Masculine. I am using an image from our fabulous sponsor: Kit and Klowder.
Here is my card:
This is my Father's Day card for my dad. He used to own a motorcycle so this is the perfect image for him! This is an adorable image and Kit & Klowder has a tutorial on how to color him. Just to be clear, I did not use the tutorial, so please don't judge their class on my coloring ability!! I find it challenging to use my markers on very fine details (partly because I am now at the age at which I need reading glasses to see up close), so I decided to attempt colored pencils. I actually think it came out pretty well. I'm not overly happy with the color of the bear's fur, but other than that, not too bad, if I say so myself. In order to have any chance of coloring within the lines, I printed the image out rather large so it didn't leave much room for any extras. But I did find the little red heart in a bag of bits and pieces and I think it finishes it off perfectly! You have all month to play along. So, get inky and link up your creation; I can't wait to see what you create!
