Penguin Anniversary

It's Saturday!!  That means it's time for another challenge from Di's Digi Designs.
The challenge this time is: Include a Sentiment
And here is my card for your inspiration:
This sweet little anniversary card is for my sister and her husband who will be celebrating their 12th anniversary this weekend.  For the background I inked the face of an embossing folder before running it through my die cutting machine (with paper in it of course!) to create a fun background.  I don't think I've tried this technique before, and I really like it!  I die cut two borders and a tag out of white card stock.  I added the thin strips of black to cut down the sweetness of all that pink!  I stamped the sentiment and then cut around it, attached it to my image which is popped up on foam tape.
I added clear Wink of Stella and a glitter pen on her veil.  You can see it in the photo below.  I also add some gold glitter marker to the champagne glass and added Glossy Accents over top.
I finished the card off with a sheer ribbon and some pink pearls.  You can also see the texture from the embossing in the photo above.

I hope you will get a chance to play along with us; I can't wait to see what you create.  And make sure you hop over to the Di's Digital Designs blog to see what the rest of the team has made for this challenge.

This penguin couple couldn't be more adorable and you've definitely brought them to life with your colouring skills. Love all the different textures you've used with the dry embossing and die-cutting, adds so much interest. And I'm so jealous of your ability to tie the perfect bow. So very glad you shared this with us at TIME OUT!
