Mom's like you

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps.  This week is a Designer's Choice Challenge and Joy has chosen "Spring Flowers"

And here is the card I created:
As usual, I started my card with a sketch and went from there.  This is the first time I have used this flower stamp; it's so pretty!  I wanted to have a little "fun" (meaning, make a lot of extra work for myself), so I stamped the image and created a mask so I could stamp the Marquee frame over it.  After I colored the image, it seemed to need something else, so I fussy cut around the image inside the frame.  I loved being able to see the patterned paper behind the image, but it was a little too bold, so I added a piece of vellum to the back of the frame before I popped it up with foam tape.  I finished everything off with some punched butterflies and white pearls.

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head on over to The House blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has done with this photo.  And if you "need" any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your entire order coupon code over in my lift sidebar.

Stamps: Repeat Impressions "Mom's Like you . . .", "Bouquet Stencil", and "Marquee Frame, Large"
Punches: Martha Stewart butterfly punch

Oh how pretty and so detailed - lots of fussy cutting but oh so worth the final products. Great choice on the dp's and a great way to start May off. I see you have made yours into a Mothers Day card. I did the same with mine.
