Merry Christmas

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  Since it is the last week of the month, the challenge is Anything Goes.  We know how much everyone loves those.  The color combo of my card is non-traditional, for sure, but it was guided by the ribbon I used.  It was sitting on my desk, discarded after a different project and I really wanted to use it up, so I picked the other colors to go along with it.  And I really love how it turned out; so pretty!
I started by stamping the large snowflake and then added in the smaller ones to fill the spaces.  Then I took the postcard stamp and overstamped it with a light gray ink to add some visual texture.  Finished everything off with the green ribbon and a button that was salvaged from a piece of clothing my kids had outgrown (that's how I get just about all of my buttons).
I hope you will get a chance to play along with us; I love seeing what you come up with.

Hi Heather! This is wonderful - what a pretty combination of colours and such a pretty design as well. Love the button - sweet touch! Your prize should be paddling like crazy over the Atlantic - if it's not already arrived on terra firma :)
