As a Father . . .

Good morning!  Today I have the honor of being a guest designer for the Word Art Wednesday challenge.  I was given this beautiful verse to work with, and here is what I came up with:

I picked some very masculine papers and they all happened to be scraps, which makes it even better in my book!  The log paper is perfect for the men in my family as we have wood stoves and the men spend a lot of time cutting and splitting wood for the winter.

Supplies:
Dies: Spellbinders "Filigree Delights"

Challenges:
Creative Fingers #232--anything goes
Snippets Playground #429--anything goes with snippets (all of my patterned papers were scraps)
Use Your Stuff #449--anything goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper--anything goes with patterned paper
Dies R Us #194--Dad's Day/Masculine
Paper Funday #42--anything goes with the optional twist: masculine
Moving Along with the Times #143--masculine/Father's Day
Double Trouble #113--Let's Go Masculine (Thing #1: masculine; Thing #3: plaid and/or stripes; Thing #2: link up with Try Stampin' on Tuesday)

Heather, great masculine choice of papers to go along with your verse... especially given how wood plays an active roll in your household!! I agree, it's always a win when we find the perfect use for some of our scraps. Great interpretation of Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch and optional masculine theme!!! -Donna

I always love being able to use scraps also. This is a good card I have some card stock with Slices of wood on it like this, I like it I may have to make some of these up. It’s a great manly card. Thanks for sharing with us at tri Stampin on Tuesday see you again.
