Friend for all seasons

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps.  This week we have a beautiful inspiration photo for you:
And here is the card I created:

As you can see, I was inspired by the leaves and the colors of the photo.  I had the large leaf die cut in my bits and pieces stash and it was the perfect size for embossing the sentiment.  I also added some frantage embossing powder around the edges of the leaf.  It's a little hard to see the sentiment in that photo, so the one below shows it a whole lot better.  It also shows the faux stitching along the bottom of the card.
I think this will probably just be a thinking of you card, or something similar, so I didn't add a sentiment to the inside.  But I did want to dress it up a little so I added some falling leaves and a couple acorns with a light gray ink in the bottom corner.
Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head on over to The House blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has done with this photo.  And if you "need" any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your entire order coupon code over in my lift sidebar.

Supplies:
Stamps: Repeat Impressions "Tree FLIP set" sentiment, "Acorn" and "Falling Leaves"
Dies: Papertrey Ink leaf die; MFT stitching die

The cards this week are off the chart - every card is different but all followed with the photo inspiration. Love your ribbon tied on the top of your leaf paper, would not have thought to do that but loving it. Great job this week.

What a pretty leafy card Heather, perfect for this time of the year. And what an appropriate sentiment too, framed beautifully by your embossing. Vicky x

All the little touches on this card are a great nod to Autumn! I just love the ribbon treatment with the horizontal row of stitching across the bottom portion! So pretty inside and out!
