Birthday Cupcake

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built and this week we have an awesome sketch for you:

And here is the card I created for your inspiration:
I'm so behind on sending out birthday cards to the people in my church!  November hits and I am just slammed with stuff that needs to be done all the way up until now.  But I did have a free minute to create a card for this challenge, so I went with a birthday card to add to my stash .  It won't stay in my stash long, though, since I need to send out a bunch of belated birthday cards.  I pulled out an OLD patterned paper from my stash and found a coordinating one to create my cupcake liner with a little paper piecing.  I colored the image and added some glossy accents to the sprinkles to make them shiny!
Quick and easy, which was what I needed right now.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will hop over to the House blog to see the rest of the DT's creations and then get inky and play along with us.  And if you need any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your ENTIRE order coupon code over in my left sidebar.

Love your yummy cupcake - and I think more than one of us has that Happy Birthday paper in our stash, as I have it as well. Your sprinkles really shine. Sending wishes for a Happy New Year.

This is such a quick and cute card, and don't you love it when the paper does most of the work for you? Love those sprinkles and the die-cut green piece you matted the cupcake with! I need to add more birthday cards to my stash too, thanks for the inspiration!
