Thankful for You

Wow, it is October already!!  That means it is time for a new challenge from the Love To Scrap Challenge Blog: Fall Back (Fall/Autumn/Thanksgiving).  Our sponsor for this challenge is Cas-ual Fridays and the prize will be a $25 gift certificate to their store!

I chose this beautiful set to work with:

I just loved the leaves and knew this image would be perfect for fall.  I gave it a bit of a water colored look.  I inked up the trunk stamp and then spritzed it with water before stamping it on water color paper.  I did the same with the leaves, stamping that image twice each with orange and red ink.  I drew the grass with a Tombow marker and then used a wet paintbrush to soften the blades a bit.  Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will get inky and play along with us this month; I can't wait to see what you create.
