Happy New Year!! Welcome to the first What If? Wednesday challenge of 2017. We have a new designer and loads of new challenges this year to get you inspired, so I hope you will hop on over to The House Blog for all the details. This week's challenge is a Designer's Choice Challenge, Shirley is the Designer and her choice is Winter Cards (But Not Christmas). I've a family member who's birthday always sneaks up on me, so I decided to create a winter birthday card. I stamped the jar from Contain Yourself upside down and cut out the center to use it as a fun snow globe shaker card. I've seen this technique around and filed it away for a future time, which turned out to be now.
I don't have the jar with the lid, so I just colored the top "threads" with silver to mimic a lid. With the bow tied on, I don't think anyone would even notice. I filled my shaker with white glitter, added glitter pen to the tiny snowflakes around the snowman and used my wink of Stella pen to add glitter to the die cut snowflake, so this is nice and glittery in real life.
Supplies:
Stamps: Repeat Impressions "Snowflake Solid, large", "Snowflake Solid, small", "Winter Frame", "Jar", and "Birthday"
Dies: PTI "Fancy Flakes", MFT "Blueprints 13" large fishtail banner

I don't have any directions. I just stamped the jar (upside down) and cut out the center with my craft knife. Then used foam tape to outline the backside of the opening and filled it with glitter (after adding a piece of acetate to the front, of course). Glad you like it; it was pretty fun!
Good idea you have created turning your jar super cute snowman.
Thank you fir sharing with Fussy and Fancy
Best wishes
