Welcome to another What If? Wednesday challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  The first challenge of every month is a color challenge and Wendy picked them based on the favorite color combos of the Design Team.  I'm pretty sure this was mine (it's pretty sad when you can't even remember what your favorite color combo is!):

It's actually been quite a while since I used this combo, but after finishing my card, I remembered why I like it so much!  

I created the little metal label, but die cutting a label shape out of silver paper and then cutting the center out with my craft knife to finish the look.  I masked my sentiment so only the "mom" part of the sentiment received any ink, and there you have a perfect little label.  I used a woodgrain embossing folder on the background to give it texture and interest, and it ties in with the woodland, nature theme.  I hope you get a chance to play along; I'd love to see what you do with my favorite color combo. : )
