Shine on

Hello, everyone!  It's time for a new challenge from the Creative Moments Challenge blog.  The theme is: Let It Shine.  I am using an image from one of our fabulous sponsors: Becky's Place.

 Here is my card:
When you want to create a quick and easy card with a digi image, one idea is to print the image large enough to take up the whole card.  As always seems to be the case, I was in a hurry, so that's what I did; printed it this beauty out nice and big and allowed it to "shine".  For a fun touch, I added real twine to the image.  I glued it right on top of the twine part of the image.  Then I added a real button over the button in the image.  It adds a lot of texture and dimension and kept me from having o color them!  For the flame, I sponged on some yellow ink until it gave a nice glow.  I die cut "Shine" and several tiny stars out of gold paper. I adhered the "Shine" and stamped the sentiment, then added the little stars as embellishments.
You have all month to play along.  So, get inky and link up your creation; I can't wait to see what you create!

Supplies:
Stamps: Becky's Place "String Candle" from the "Tied Up With String" bundle; PaperTrey Ink "Sparkle and Shine: Christmas"
Dies: Papertrey Ink "Sparkle and Shine"; MFT "Blueprints 13" stitched rectangle; Stamps of Life star flip card set

Heather, your card is simply lovely! Candles are one of my favorite symbols of Christmas, and yes, aren't digital images wonderful when you need an image quickly. I use them a lot.
