Hello, Gorgeous

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  This week we have a fun Tic Tac Toe board for you:
Image may contain: possible text that says 'The House That Stamps Built Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge A820 Use Piercing Birds Dimension Off the Pastel Edge Colors Stenciling Dew Vellum Bunnies Drops Choose any 3 elements in a row down, across or diagonal ~ and use them in your project.'

Here is what I created for your inspiration:
I used the left column: Piercing, Off the Edge, Dew Drops
You can't see it in this photo, my oval die cut is pierced around the edge.  You can see it better in the photo below and definitely in the last one in the post.
I don't know why this keeps happening to my on tic tac toe challenges, but once again, I got creating and having a blast and all of a sudden, I realized I hadn't checked the board to make sure I was using the proper elements.  Ugh!  Luckily, I already had the piercing.  My butterfly is off the edge of the panels and the "gorgeous" die cut is off the edges of the oval die cut, and also the edge of the card.  Then I just had to add the dew drops.  I don't have any of those so I used some clear droplets from Kat Scrappiness.  I heat embossed the "Hello" with white embossing powder and die cut "gorgeous" from white card stock I colored in an ombre of pinks to match the butterfly.  To finish everything off, I added black nuvo shimmer pen and clear wink of stella to the butterfly for some fabulous sparkle.  You can see it in the photo below (along with the piercing on the oval):
The idea for this card started with a sketch and the oval die cut which was in my bits and pieces stash.  The butterfly was stamped and fussy cut from a piece of scrap card stock and all the black elements was cut from the leftovers from cutting the card base.

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head on over to The House blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has done with this photo.  And if you "need" any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your entire order coupon code over in my lift sidebar.

Heather, your card you submitted to Double Trouble is BEAUTIFUL! Love the colors and patterns. It looks like you may have used the sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday, which is one of our partners, so don't forget to post there as well! -Donna

Beautiful butterfly card - love your pinks. When I looked I actually thought they were dew drops - how clever. Great job this week on the TTT challenge.

It appears that you and I were the only one's not to use "Bunnies" in our designs. Funny. I too have done the same thing as you in regards to oops, forgot to add an element in the TTT grid. Wonderful card.

Wow! What a gorgeous card! I love the layout and the pink and yellow together! Absolutely perfect!
BTW - I do the same thing....get creating and forget to check the board. Sometimes I have to add a little something to make it fit! (smile)

Heather, great interpretation of the layout, and your square card. And I don't think you realized how HIP you are, that background paper has many, many squares. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Crafters Cafe and ArtsyStamper.

Fabulous card Heather! I love the colours as well - very dramatic. Little reminder from me, I only allow a total of 10 challenges. I'm very late commenting and will just let it go for this time, I know it's probably hard to remember some of the limits we set - and quite honestly right now we're coping with enough to worry over a little blog rule.

Hope you're keeping well.

Hugs
