Christmas Blessings

Hello, everyone!  It's time for a new challenge from the Creative Moments Challenge blog.  The theme is: Sparkle and Shine.  I am using an image from our fabulous sponsor: All Dressed Up.

 Here is my card:
I already had this cute little image printed out, so I colored her up and fussy cut her out.  I added some gold wink of stella glitter pen to her tutu skirt and then matted her on a white glitter snowflake for some extra sparkle.  I die cut and stamped the image panel and added it to some sating ribbon to which I had attached a beautiful sparkly ribbon slide.  This piece was left over from somebody's jewelry project, I think.  I love how the rustic background paper pairs with the elegance of the ribbon and slide and all the extra sparkle!
You have all month to play along.  So, get inky and link up your creation; I can't wait to see what you create!

Supplies:
Stamps: All Dressed Up "Best Frocks" digi (this is one of three girls in the image); Verve "Beyond Blessed" sentiment and "Vintage Oval"

Merry Christmas

Happy December 1st!!  It's time for a new challenge on the Critter Crazy Challenge blog!  As always, it is a month long challenge: Anything Goes as long as you feature a creature.  Here is my card for your inspiration:

In my never-ending search to use up things that I already have, I've been working on using some commercial, sample Christmas cards.  This little cutie just caught my eye this week, and since he is a critter, he was perfect!!  I die cut the image using a stitched rectangle die and stamped the sentiment and flourish.  Then I added a bit of white gel pen to the eyes, nose and the top of the hats.  Such a little touch, but it made him come alive even more.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hop on over to the Critter Crazy blog and check out the details and the rest of the projects from the Design Team.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink "Just Sentiments: Be Merry" and "The Sweet Life" flourish
Dies: MFT "Blueprint 13" stitched rectangle
