So, all month I've been working on creating my Valentine's Day cards using a one-sheet wonder template. You can see my other cards, here, here, and here. These are my last two. (I think there is supposed to be one more, but somehow I lost the last piece of patterned paper.)
The first one is for my niece: she's 8.
I covered the little die cut hearts with glossy accents for a nice shine. You can see it in the photo below:
The second card is for one of her brothers: he's 6
I created the background by stamping the little cookie image and the word "cookies" with red ink to create a subtle pattern. I also added glossy accents to the heart on this one.
I curved the main part of the sentiment for a fun touch. Also, I didn't have to find a separate place for it that way.CARD #1:
Supplies:
Stamps: Sugar Pea Designs "Better Together" (unfortunately it seems to be retired)
Dies: MFT "Blueprints 14" banner and "Smartphone" small heart; Sweet n Sassy Stamps larger heart
Challenges:
Pattie's Creations #179--love, love, love
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper--anything goes with patterned paper
Crafty Calendar--dies/punches AND ribbon/twine
Dare 2B Artzy--love
Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #216--add a heart
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #395--anything goes with snippets (my stamping and fussy/die cutting was all done on snippets, and the light gray mat was a snippet. And I think using a one-sheet wonder is the ultimate snippets use; you're not left with a single bit of paper!)
Time Out Challenge #181--inspiration photo (inspired by the hearts and the red)
Sweet Stampin'--cards for teens/kids
Double Trouble #77--Layer it on (Thing #1: use at least 3 layers; I have 5 where my sentiment overlaps my images)

CARD #2:
Stamps: Sugar Pea Designs "Better Together" (unfortunately it seems to be retired)
Dies: Spellbinders "Classic Circles, large"

Brilliant cards Heather - such fun!Love the milk and cookies theme. And I've bookmarked the 'one sheet wonder' facebook post you linked to as there are a couple of Christmas pape sheets adore and daren't use as it seems such a shame. But to get so many cuts from a single sheet is great! And also a good challenge for oneself.
