I had a few more free minutes to just play yesterday and I managed to create a Christmas card and use something from my bits and pieces stash. Bonus!! I've also been working on getting my clear stamp sets organized a little better. I bought a large lot of empty CD jewel cases at a yard sale last summer and I finally bought a label maker, so I've been putting the clear sets in cases and labeling them. During the process, I've been reminded of a few sets that I have that haven't even seen any ink even though I have had them for quite a while. I was able to use two of these sets on this card. Double Bonus!! Anyway, here is my card:
The ornament die cut was the piece that was in my bits and pieces stash. I started by coloring it blue with a marker and then stamping the world map in a medium green. Then I just had to cut the accessory pieces. I mounted the ornament on a circle of vellum to give it a little distinction from the background.Supplies:
Stamps: Altenew "Mini Atlas" world map; JustRite Stampers "Christmas Applique Vintage Labels Seven" sentiment
Dies: Elizabeth Craft Designs "Beautiful Baubles"; Spellbinders "Classic Circles, large"
Cuttlebug: Snowflake embossing folder
