After cutting out the rectangle from the flower panel, you are left with a flower rectangle that you can use for a second card:
I was watching a video from Jennifer McGuire on how to create a floating frame card and I just had to give it a try. I loved how the cards turned out even though they were a bit time consuming since I had to fussy cut each of the flowers by hand. I actually went out and bought some Glad Press 'n Seal specifically for this project! The dimension on these are just fabulous!
They really turned out fabulous; I'm sure I will be doing this again in the future. After trimming the panels down, I had one almost completely whole flower left over, so I added to the inside of the card (because, you know I just can't throw something like that away!).

OH BEAUTIFUL and sounds like labor intensive. But oh so worth it as you got two cards as a bonus. I think I might have seen Jennifer do this. Just a side note did you know her husband invented the press and seal.?? The coloring is beautiful and it does look like the frame is floating. Great job.
Heather these are AMAZING!! I love your coloring and that floating frame is such a neat effect! I think I almost like the second card (with the leftovers) even better -- super beautiful!
Wow, these are beautiful, I fell in love with the colors immediately and how perfectly they matched the inspirational photo, the beautiful design and then I clicked on them to see the cards enlarged and the details and dimension are amazing!

LOVE this card Heather - the colours are so vibrant and those flowers are just beautiful! I bought some Press and Seal a while ago and can't remember why to be honest. But, it's also great stuff to use for sealing things for the fridge :)
