Wow, here is it April already!!  Since it is the beginning of the month, it is time for new challenge from the Love To Scrap Challenge Blog: April Showers Bring May Flowers.  Our sponsor is the fabulous CAS-ual Fridays

Here is the card I created using some of their beautiful stamp sets:

I started by die cutting the white panel with a stitched rectangle die, then die cutting the circle out of the center.  After lightly marking the circle on my card base with a pencil, I sponged on some yellow and a very tiny bit of orange ink to add interest to the background that shows through the circle cut out.  I stamped the flowers and leaves on scrap paper, colored them and fussy cut them out and adhered them into place.  I finished by stamping the parts of the sentiment in two different colors: the gray is not as hard and harsh as black would have been on the large word, but it adds definition to the smaller word so it doesn't get lost.
