January Birthday

January birthdays can sneak up on you after all the hoopla of the holidays. I needed a card for a birthday we are celebrating tomorrow. Nothing like last minute! The sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesdays and I also used the challenge from Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday challenge #47 to use one of the previous issued challenges--I decided to try out the layered mats & frames #37 challenge. This gorgeous rose is from PTI's "Year of Flowers set") and the sentiment is from "Big Birthday Wishes" with the same rose lightly stamped underneath. I used Spellbinders Lable #5 and Scalloped Circles, large to create the frame.

  2. Heather, thanks for playing with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I too hate those last minute gotcha's, but what a fantastic card you created at the last minute. Love this PTI set and your faded rose behind the sentiment is lovely. Thanks for sharing.
