Thinking of You

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps.  This week is a Designer's Choice Challenge and it's MY turn to choose.  I chose: Pumpkins

And here is the card I created:
All of the patterned papers I used were sitting on my desk from other projects I created recently (you may recognize the pumpkin paper from two weeks ago and and the houndstooth paper from last week).  They were all pretty much the right size, too, I just needed to trim them a bit.  I embossed the background with a plaid embossing folder I had yet to use; it adds such a great texture!

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head on over to The House blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has done with this photo.  And if you "need" any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your entire order coupon code over in my lift sidebar.

Supplies:
Stamps: Repeat Impressions "Round Pumpkin" and "Thinking"
Dies: MFT "Blueprints 14" stitched rectangle and "Stitched Scalloped Trio"; Spellbinders "That's the Ticket"
Tim Holtz plaid embossing folder

Challenges:
Creative Fingers #196--anything goes
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #390--anything goes with snippets (my patterned papers are all snippets and the die cuts are all from scraps, too)
Craft-Dee Bow Z--anything goes with handmade bow
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper--anything goes with patterned paper
Double Trouble #70--Stitch it Up (Thing #1: stitch it up--I used a stitched circle and a stitched scalloped border dies)

Crafty Sentiments--anything goes
Crafter's Cafe #254--anything goes
Unicorn Challenge #60--anything goes

  1. What a great challenge this month - everyone made beautiful pumpkin cards. I wish I could use up "scraps" like you do and they always seem to match/go together. Love the plaid embossing folder - who makes this? Great job on a great challenge.
