Snowman snow globe

Happy Wednesday!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built and this week it is a fun Designer's Choice Challenge!   Esther has challenged us to create something with a snow globe.  How fun!!
And here is the card I created for your inspiration:
The snow hills are cut out of a super sparkly white card stock and I added glitter "snowflakes" to the inside of the snow globe, so this is so sparkly in real life.  I contemplated cutting a circle out of the background paper so the background of the snow globe would be white, but I kind of like the snowflake pattern showing through.
The photo below shows off some of that sparkly goodness.
One (of the many I should make) of my new year's resolution is to get my Christmas cards finished and sent out BEFORE Christmas.  So, one step I am going to try to take is to stamp the inside of my cards as I make them, so I don't have to do that right before I mail them out.  I did it for this card, so, one done!  Yeay!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will hop over to the House blog to see the rest of the DT's creations and then get inky and play along with us.  And if you need any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your ENTIRE order coupon code over in my left sidebar.

  3. I love this card, Heather! Your colors are perfectly "snowy" together and I love the sparkle too. I had to LOL about getting your Christmas cards out before Christmas....thought I was the only one with that issue! Would love to join your resolution, but I know me...I'll be down to the last minute in 2019, like I have been every year before. :D

  7. Stamping the sentiment when you make a Christmas card makes sense. I don't know why I never do that, and then there's either more room to fill with writing inside, or I have to stamp a whole bunch. I think I'll take on that goal, too! Thanks for the idea.

I love how you stamped a cute image in color under the sentiment - another great idea! Beautiful card, and I agree with you on leaving the snowflake paper showing through the snow globe.

Thanks for joining us for our Cut it Up for our New Year’s Resolutions challenge and good luck with your goals!
