Love Wreath

Happy June!!  Since it's the beginning of the month, it's time for a new challenge from The Love To Scrap Challenge Blog.  Since June is the month of weddings, our challenge for you is "Marry Me".  You can create a wedding, anniversary, bridal shower or engagement project.  Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations:
The prize is a $15 gift certificate to the STAMPlorations store and everyone is a winner this month because Sherry (the owner) has offered a 15% discount to all our participants using the code LOVETOSCRAP15
This is the card I created for your inspiration:

I used the "Frames & Flowers" set to create this really fun wreath card.  I've had this set for quite a while but haven't used it very much.  I need to remember to pull it out more often.  There are tons of adorable and beautiful floral elements and a couple great frames which I didn't end up using for this one.  I started by lightly tracing a circle with a pencil and then stamping each of the different elements.  It took quite a while, but it was fun, too.  I finished it off with a sentiment from the set and then adding white Nuvo drops to both the sentiment banner and in random spots around the wreath.
I hope you will play along with us this month, I can't wee what you come up with!

Supplies:
Stamps: Stamplorations "Frames & Flowers"
Dies: MFT "Blueprints 13" stitched rectangle and banner; Spellbinders "Classic Circles, large" used to draw the circle

  14. Wow, Heather, I can see the stamping must have been a bit time consuming but it turned out so well, it's just lovely! I always like the look of stitching, especially with a floral and/or feminine card, it's such a nice touch. The Nuvondrops really set off your wreath image and I love that funky font for the sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us this week at AHSC.
