Rustic birthday

Happy Wednesday!!!  It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  This week we have a tic-tac-toe challenge for you:
No automatic alt text available.
As you know, I love these challenges.  There are so many options and you can basically make your own challenge.  I used the first column: buttons, birthday and patterned paper.  Here is the card I created:
This was the first time I had inked up this image and for some reason it really wanted to be used with this sketch. : )  I didn't really have time to color the image, but I think it looks just as good uncolored and fits with the more rustic feel of the card.  The buttons were salvaged from clothes that my girls have outgrown.  When the clothes are too stained or worn to pass on to others, I always cut the buttons and zippers out before tossing them. It's how I've gotten almost all my buttons.
I hope you will get a chance to play along with us this week; I can't wait to see what you create.

Stamps: Repeat Impressions "Whitetail Doe and Deer" and "Birthday"

  3. Fabulous card, this image is fantastic, the deer seems to be looking right at you, I like it uncolored so it can shine, just the right amount of embellishing!
