Jesus

Happy Friday, everyone!  Time for another challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.  This week's challenge is: Sparkle and Shine
Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and the winner will receive 7 images to play with

Brown and gold are definitely not a traditional Christmas color scheme and not a color scheme I would use at all normally.  But when I got this adorable image to play with, it just sort of fell together.  Because without adding a metallic, it was going to be hard to get sparkle and shine to pair with a manger image.  There wasn't a whole lot of sparkle and shine going on there!
So, I added glitter to the star in the image and glittered the two die cut stars as well, and I used recycled gold wrapping paper for the "shine" effect.  Check it out, I also pulled out my sewing machine and actually sewed around the edges of all the layers!  And let me tell you, I think the card turned out super cute!  Head on over to the CSAYL blog to check out the full details and see the sparkly creations form the other DT girls.  Then get out your glitter and shiny stuff and play along.
