Happy Friday!!! It's time for a new challenge from the Cut It Up Challenge Blog. This week, the challenge is: Favorite Colors
Here is my card for your inspiration:
Can you tell what my favorite color is? Ha, ha, yes, blue!! It also happens to be the favorite color of my middle daughter. She and her twin sister turned 16 this past week and this is the card I created for her. (You will get to see the card for the younger twin later in the month.) Since they were turning 16, I wanted something a little classy and more grown up than usual (though this twin did ask where her monkey was since I usually make her cards with monkeys on them). I chose this elegant little lady from All Dressed Up. I really love paper piecing and thought it might be easier than coloring. I was wrong, but I still really like how it turned out. I chose this image because my daughter quite often wears her hair in a bun. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will hop over to the Cut It Up blog for the full details of the challenge and to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.
