Happy Friday!!! It's time for a new challenge from the Cut It Up Challenge Blog. This week, the challenge is: Send me Flowers
Here is my card for your inspiration:
I have a wedding to go to this weekend and this is the card I created. It feels kind of dark for a wedding card, as they seem to have lots of white, but I felt like using purple for the rose and then I spotted this fabulous, subtle gray patterned paper and I went from there. The paper was a little dark, so I added a layer of adhesive vellum over top to soften it up a little. I used a lot of silver card stock for shine and finished everything off with some white pearls sprinkled about. You can see all the shine in the photo below:Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will hop over to the Cut It Up blog for the full details of the challenge and to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.

ReplyDeleteHi Heather! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a kind comment. I wanted to continue the blessing by visiting your blog and leaving some kindness as well. I've enjoyed scrolling back and looking at all your beautiful cards. The Sweet Life stamp set by PTI is a long time favorite of mine. I just love stamps that can go the mile and beyond, and are timeless in style. It is just beautiful colored up in purple tones. I'm inspired to pull this stamp set out again and give it some love. Many blessings to you!
