A new month has arrived and that means a new challenge from the Love To Scrap Challenge Blog. This month's challenge is Anything Goes.
And here is the card I created:
Oh, I just love this little elephant!! He's soooo adorable!! I saw this old Sketch Saturday sketch a while ago and it just caught my attention; I so desperately wanted to give it a try. So, while the deadline is well past, I still had to make a card with it anyway. I already had the blue die cut stars in my stash left over from a past project. I thought it would be fun to pair them with red patterned paper and create a fun 4th of July birthday card. A young man in our family celebrates his birthday on the 4th, so this will be going to him. Thanks so much for stopping by! Head on over to the LTSCB blog to see what the rest of the team has created and to get the full details of the challenge. Then get inky and play along with us; I can't wait to see what you create.
Supplies:
Stamps: MFT "Adorable Elephants" image and "Essential Sentiments" sentiment
Dies: MFT "Happy Trio"; Spellbinders "Classic Circles, large"; Sizzix/Stephanie Bernard "Flip Fancy--stars"
Challenges:
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper--anything goes with patterned paper
Dies R Us #172--anything goes with die brands carried by DRU
Double Trouble #87--It's Hip to Be Square (Thing #1: use squares or circles)
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #406--anything goes with snippets (the stars were left overs, I believe the circles were die cut from scraps, the little elephant and both sentiment pieces were cut from scraps)
Simon Says Stamp Monday--red, white, and/or blue
Crafty Sentiments--anything goes
Crafters Cafe #269--anything goes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday--anything goes
