And here is the card I created for your inspiration:
A woman at our church fell two weeks ago on her way home from church in a snow storm and ended up breaking her ankle and fracturing her knee. So, this challenge was the perfect time for me to create a Get Well card for her. I only have two get well sentiments from Repeat Impressions and both of them have a play on words that goes with an animal image. They are really fabulous, but I didn't think either would work for this woman in this situation. So, I looked through my sentiments and found this one that says "Just because I care". Even though it doesn't say "get well" I thought it would work for a get well card. I think I have only used this butterfly die once before, but after using it on this card, I think it might make some repeat appearances--it's so pretty!! To keep the bottom half of that panel from looking so plain, I masked off the die cut corner and then used the "Postcard" image and light gray ink to add some subtle interest. I stamped the butterfly image, colored it and fussy cut it out and then layered it on some mulberry paper for some soft texture. I added some sheer ribbon and some pearls to finish it all off. I did also add some sparkle to the butterfly with a Spectrum Noir glitter pen, but forgot to take a photo of it and this card is already in the mail!
