And here is the card I created for your inspiration:
I'm so behind on sending out birthday cards to the people in my church! November hits and I am just slammed with stuff that needs to be done all the way up until now. But I did have a free minute to create a card for this challenge, so I went with a birthday card to add to my stash . It won't stay in my stash long, though, since I need to send out a bunch of belated birthday cards. I pulled out an OLD patterned paper from my stash and found a coordinating one to create my cupcake liner with a little paper piecing. I colored the image and added some glossy accents to the sprinkles to make them shiny!
Quick and easy, which was what I needed right now.

ReplyDeleteLove your yummy cupcake - and I think more than one of us has that Happy Birthday paper in our stash, as I have it as well. Your sprinkles really shine. Sending wishes for a Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteWonderful designer paper! It goes so well with that cupcake. Awesome paper piecing on the liner too. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou cupcake looks so yummy, and the paper pairs perfectly! Beautiful in every way!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a quick and cute card, and don't you love it when the paper does most of the work for you? Love those sprinkles and the die-cut green piece you matted the cupcake with! I need to add more birthday cards to my stash too, thanks for the inspiration!
