Merry Christmas

A few weeks ago, I made this card using the "Arrow Coverplate" die from Sugar Pea Designs:
Looking at the leftover positive pieces, I thought it would be fun to adhere them to card base for a unique background.  And it was fun, but quite time consuming.  I first colored the pieces randomly with some reds, teals, and a gold paint pen.  Then, I laid them back into the spaces in the actual die and used a piece of "Press n' Seal" to hold them all in place.  I then added liquid glue to the back of each piece and adhered them to the card.  It didn't turn out perfectly, but it did create a fun look.
I die cut the Merry Christmas sentiment three times from white card stock and colored on of them with the same gold paint pen.  I die cut a circle from vellum, to give the sentiment a place to rest and help distinguish it from the background.  I added a few punched snowflakes and several gold sequins to finish it off.

Supplies:

Dies: Spellbinders "Classic Circles, large"; STAMPlorations Merry Christmas die; Sugar Pea Designs "Arrow Coverplate" die
Martha Stewart snowflake punch
