Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another challenge from The House That Stamps Built. This week we have a fun Tic Tac Toe board for you:
Here is what I created for your inspiration:
I used the left column: sparkle or shine, black and white only, border or frame. At first I was thinking about making a Christmas card with that color scheme, but then realized I need several birthday cards. So I pulled out a paper pad I knew has some black and white patterns, and got to work. One of the scraps in the pad had a pattern on it that I thought would be fun to paper piece onto a pumpkin. I added a little shading with a gray marker to the flower portion on the pumpkin and then covered it with clear wink of Stella for a little sparkle. I used another piece of the same patterned paper for the background, added some black die cut borders, a heat embossed sentiment and a large rhinestone flourish that I have had FOREVER!! I think it turned out really pretty and is a fun take on the autumn theme. In the photo below you can see a little of the sparkle on the flower.
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you head on over to The House blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has done with this photo. And if you "need" any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your entire order coupon code over in my lift sidebar.
