And here is the card I created:
I had a bit of fun with a rather non-traditional color scheme. The red is there, but I threw in some different blues to make it a bit fresher. I added a die cut piece of vellum behind the sentiment panel to help it stand out from the busy background. And I finished everything off with some red pearls.

How striking and refreshing with the red, white and blue! Vellum layers really add to a card.

Oh, I love this! The vellum really softens the entire card and allows that sentiment to shine through. Great work! Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble :)
ReplyDeleteThe unique color combination is quite pretty for your Christmas card! Those vivid red flowers steal the show, but the lacy diecuts and vellum panel give this a very soft look!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Wonderful layout. That die for the sentiment is gorgeous!
