Hello, all! As this post goes live, we will be returning from a family vacation at the beach. So, it just turned out that I had the perfect props for my photo! And the mermaid theme of the card was perfect for the vacation (though we didn't see any mermaids). It's tough to tell in the photos, but I used clear Wink of Stella pen on the mermaid's tail and fins and on the fish. I also used liquid pearls on the pearl in the oyster shell.
For some fun shine on the bubbles, I used some glossy accents which you can see a little bit in the photo above. I finish it off with some mulberry paper, glittery purple ribbon and, of course pearls!
I hope you will get a chance to play along with us; I can't wait to see what you create. And make sure you hop over to the Di's Digital Designs blog to see what the rest of the team has made for this challenge.

Oh Heather, another example of your "fintastic" coloring skills!!! Your little mermaid is so sweet, and all the special touches of glossy accents on the bubbles and the pearl in her hair really make the card super special!!! Your use of mulberry paper reminds me I have a supply I haven't touched in years... you've made great use of it around the circle edges! Thank you for joining us and sharing your creative talents at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little mermaid and your colour combo and sparkle are lovely. Hope you had a great holiday - we go south to our caravan next week - just hope it's stopped raining by then..!!
