Celebrate

The Love To Scrap Challenge blog is have a blog hop to celebrate our 6th birthday this month.  You can see my blog hop post here; make sure you join in the fun, there are 6 prizes to be won!  One of our sponsors is Fred She Said and they are offering a prize of a $10 gift certificate to their store.
Fred, She Said Designs .... The Store
Here is the project I created using one of their beautiful images:

Several years ago, I saw someone (I think Heather Nichols designing of Papertrey Ink) create a Lily of the Valley card using kraft card stock and I thought it was stunning.  So, I decided to do something similar and printed out my image on kraft card stock.  I colored the images with colored pencils and actually managed to surprise myself with the shading I was able to achieve (not my normal coloring medium).  I swiped a white ink pad around the edges of the stitched rectangle, stamped the sentiment and finished everything off with 3 small pearls.  I really love how it turned out!
Don't forget to check out the blog hop; you could get this image for yourself!

Supplies:
Stamps: Fred She Said "Lily of the Valley" digi stamp; Raisin Boat "Flourishing Thoughts" sentiment
Dies: MFT "Blueprints 13" stitched rectangle
