And here is the card I created for your inspiration:
I just LOVE this adorable image with the kitty loving his bear friend!! And after this week, it might be one of my favorite images to paper piece! How cute is that plaid bear?? I can image it in so many other patterns and colors. I stamped/partially stamped the image three times. I stamped it on to plain white card stock twice, once for the main panel and once for the cat as it was easier to piece him ONTO the bear rather than the bear onto the cat (plus the dimension works better that way). Then I stamped the bear onto the plaid paper. It looked too plain without a sentiment, but the layout really didn't leave any place for one. So, I curved my stamp and stamped it around the edge of the circle. I really like how this looks; it adds a really fun look.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will hop over to the House blog to see the rest of the DT's creations and then get inky and play along with us. And if you need any of the stamps I used, check out my 10% off your ENTIRE order coupon code over in my left sidebar.

ReplyDeleteHeather, your card just begs to be hugged! What a sweet image. Your use of paper piecing to make the bear a plaid for the holidays is genius! Looks like you just about did every row on our Tic-Tac-Tuesday challenge!! Foil would have been too glitzy for this adorable homey feel card.
