A young boy at our church (my daughters' best buddy) turned 10 last week. This is the fun card I created for him:
Boys love robots and things like that, and since my girls all thought it was cool, I'm pretty sure he will too. Specially when you pull the "pull" tab and the sides slide out!The background paper is a fun, textured silver paper which is really, really hard to photograph well. But I thought it worked perfectly with the mechanical theme.
To finish off the inside, I added a sentiment and then a cascading row of numbers down the side in a pale gray. I really like the subtle look.
Supplies
Stamps: Verve robot set (can't think of the name right now); Lawn Fawn "Pull Here" pull here sentiment and arrow; PTI "Big Birthday Wishes" sentiment inside
Dies: Law Fawn "Double Slider" it comes with all the pieces to make the slider card
