I finally got a chance to "just play" with some stamps I've had for a over a year and haven't had a chance to ink up yet. Actually, my mother-in-law and I got together and had a stamping day. It was a lot of fun and it was great to be able to stamp without having to make something specific. We started off by learning a new (to us) card fold. It's similar to a joy fold. This is the first card I created:
Like I said, I've had this Clearly Besotted stamp set for almost a year and a half and haven't use it yet. But I will probably be using it more often now; it's so adorable and so sweet for get well cards. This little bear is so cute and the blanket was just begging to be paper pieced. Here it is partially open:
And all the way open:
I stamped the sentiment inside and added a few of the accessory images to dress it up. I had so much fun with this fold and the stamp set that I made a second card I will be posting as soon as I add the finishing details.Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted "Under the Weather"
Dies: Spellbinders "Labels 4", "Labels 27", "Classic Circles, large" and "Scalloped Circles, large"; MFT "Blueprints 12" flowers

Heather, you've really made a super cute card! The fold is very clever, and you have incorporated the center column on the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Tic-Tac-Tuesday challenge really well! I'm going to have to remember your card fold to incorporate into one of my own cards in the near future! Paper piecing the cute bear blanket was genius!
