Happy Friday!! It's time for another challenge from Jo's Scrap Shack. As always, we are now an Anything Goes challenge.
Our sponsors this week the fabulous Bugaboo Stamps:
and
Sunny Studio Stamps
This is not my normal week to post a card for Jo's challenge, but there was some miscommunication a little while ago and I ended up with these adorable Bugaboo images that didn't get used. So, rather than take advantage of Jody's generosity, I created two cards to go along with the challenge. Now, the images I received are actually Halloween images, but since I don't celebrate Halloween, I got creative and turned them into something I can use. My first card uses the sweet little kitty and by using Christmas colors, I changed him into an Elf kitten. Doesn't he look like he would be a great help at Christmas time?
One of my children commented that it looked like a Santa cat, so I guess I did my job well! For some extra fun, I created a shaker card with a new cover plate die I just received. My second card uses an adorable stack of jack-o-lanterns. I love pumpkins (and everything fall for that matter) and these are cute not scary, so I turned them into a fall card.
I can never get dark brown to photograph well, but the strip of ribbon is dark brown, not black. I used some copper DMC floss to stitch around the pumpkin patterned paper layer, and used the same floss to criss-cross the ribbon for a fun touch. The sentiment is a bit hard to make out. It says "Happy Fall: thinking of you this autumn and always". Sweet, huh?
I hope you will play along with us this week, I always love being inspired by what you create! Thanks for stopping by!

Heather these cards are terrific! I LOVE how you took Halloween images and created cards of a different holiday altogether. Don't ya love when that works out? I think your Christmas Elf Kitty is adorable and that card is so cute! Love the shaker portion! And your pumpkin fall card is equally as cute. Love those pumpkins! Thank you for reminding us that we don't always have to use our images or stamps for their intended purposes!! Hope you are having a good weekend!
