Blue Christmas

Here it is the middle of April, so I'm here with my mid-month inspiration for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.  You have a couple weeks left to play along with us this month, and a chance to get a head start on your Christmas card stash.  Here is my inspiration for you:
I just love this little snowman!  I often reach for him when I need something cute, and he's perfect for paper piecing which makes him even cuter!!  The matting behind the image panel is actually a dark brown to match the brown gingerbread men.  I added some snowflakes at the top of the main panel to make it look even more wintery.  I hope you will get a chance to play along with us this month; it is never too early to get started on those Christmas cards!!
