Sweet Shepherd Boy

Welcome to another What If? Wednesday challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  This week we have a sketch for your inspiration:
I love a good sketch, and this is a good one!  It's a great starting point and you can go a bit more simple like mine, or you can dress is up with lots of patterned papers and embellishments.
I created a Christmas card since I had a big shortage this past year.  And I hadn't gotten to use this sweet image yet.  The strip of dotted paper and the sentiment strip were in the (decreasing) pile of a Christmas stash I am trying to finish up.  The dotted strip was the inspiration for my color combo and also for the vintage-y style.  Head on over to The House blog to see how the rest of the DT interpreted this sketch; all of them are fabulous!

Supplies:
Stamps: Repeat Impressions "2008 K. Shepherd Boy" and "1141 F. Merry Christmas"

Challenges:
Pixie's Playground #221--anything goes with snippets
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge #275--cute or anything goes
Creative Fingers #105--anything goes
C.R.A.F.T. #355--Christmas
ABC Christmas--F is For Frills or No Frills (I went with No Frills other than one little tiny rhinestone to set off the star)
Word Art Wednesday #223--anything goes with uplifting sentiment
Sparkles Christmas Challenge #62--old fashioned Christmas
Vintage Stamping Challenge --lots of layers
Holly Jolly--use your stash
Fantastic Tuesday #129--cute critters

  15. Awesome image with a great lay-out. Sorry for this delayed comment but just want to thank you for blessing us with this entry on our previous Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Hope to see you back in our new Challenge. Want to share a Word from the Lord found in 1 Samuel 2:9 and it says, "He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. "It is not by strength that one prevails." Have a blessed day!
