Ok, so maybe lots of you already know this, but I was on pinterest this week (anyone know about that?) and found out that you can color pearls with Sharpie markers!!! Yeah, I'm a little slow. : ) My wonderful husband got me a pack of colored sharpies for Christmas this year and now I know exactly what to use them for. It's awesome!! Although, I didn't color pearls, I colored rhinestones instead. See those red beauties in the lower right corner? Sharpies! I think I'm addicted. I made 6 cards yesterday and used this technique on 3 of them. Don't have the right color? No problem, just color them.

Hi Heather thanks for the tip, I've tried Copic's but they make the pearls sticky I must admit that I do colour some of my satin ribbons white and cream with copics then I get the perfect match. Love your card this is such a sweet image of these great penguins and black white and red is a really striking colour combo one of my all time favourite. Great card and thanks so much for joining us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.
